Hi and welcome to my website. My name is Lorna McClelland and I am owner of Clutter Solutions Professional Organizing.

I have been organizing my whole life, but have only recently started doing it as a business. I needed to make a career change and during a conversation with a friend it was suggested to me, "You're so passionate whenever you talk about organizing, if you could turn that into a business and do what you love doing wouldn't that be great!" And that is just what I have done.

My clients find me approachable, easy going and love that I am so wanting to roll up my sleeves and get in there with them to do the work. I love to organize, anything and everything and no job is ever too big or too small. And if we need to make some changes I'm up for that as well. Whether it's painting the wall, custom installing a closet or customizing office/kitchen drawers and cupboards I've always got my drill handy and we do whatever it takes to make your space work for you.

I started my business in the beginning of 2006 and have loved every minute of it. And everyday is a new learning experience. As often as I help my clients I find that I am learning from them too. I'm always picking up new information on some handy gadget that works just great and it gets added to my list of things I want to use in my home. One of those recent items was a nifty paper towel holder that mounts on the side of your cupboard or underneath, whatever works best for you. And when you pull the papertowel you get a paper towel, not reams of paper towel unwinding and going everywhere. I love it. Another item I discovered through a client of mine was the 'new' toilet brush. Disposible brushes that easliy clip into the handle and even contains the cleaner. Just swish, wipe, release and your toilet bowel is clean with no messy brush sitting on your floor. The handle has a convient clip that mounts to the side or back of your toilet, ready and waiting for the next time it's needed. Who wouldn't love that? My client discovered its practical use because she has little ones that love to put everything into their mouth. Clean or dirty it doesn't matter to them.

What works well for one person, doesn't necessarily work for another. Each job is unique unto itself with it's own challenges, discoveries and solutions. As a professional organizer my goal is to find the solution that works for you and your space. I try to keep it simple and easy because lets face it, any system that is difficult or complicated just isn't going to work. I believe in keeping it simple, that less is more; less stuff, more space. You want your home to be a place where you can relax, unwind and enjoy.

My goal is to not just help you find the organizing solutions that work for you but to make it a fun and easy process. It's hard to let things go sometimes, but once we do we feel so good about it afterward we wonder what took us so long. I want you to feel good about what were doing in your space, it's not about me, it's ALL about YOU!

Change takes time. We didn't get disorganized overnight and it might take some time to start thinking differently. But once we start the organizing process we feel better, our space feels better, looks better and we enjoy it in a way we never have been able to before. Think of it as loosing weight, we drop a couple of pounds and we just feel super. Well once you start to organize your space and purge out the unwanted stuff, it's like your house lost some weight and it feels good, looks good and you love it!
